juwi solar designed, permitted and built the Highwoods Solar Energy Facility, a 1.5 megawatt (DC) solar PV facility located in Greensboro, North Carolina. Construction of the project commenced in December 2009 and was successfully completed in March 2010. As of March 2010, this project is the largest rooftop solar facility in the State of North Carolina. A major utility with a large presence in the Southeastern United States is the owner of the project and will receive all of the project’s electricity and environmental attributes.
