Queen Creek Solar Begins Commercial Operation

The solar plant, located on148 acres of land approximately 30 miles southeast of Phoenix, contains approximately 90,000 crystalline panels operating on a single axis tracking system. It is owned by PSEG Solar Source, a subsidiary of PSEG, a diversified energy company based in New Jersey. juwi solar Inc. (JSI) developed the project, served as EPC contractor and will provide operation and maintenance services for the project.

(JSI) (http://www.juwisolar.com) today announced the completion of the Mill Creek Solar Farm, a 3.8 megawatt solar photovoltaic energy facility located in Burlington Township, New Jersey that is part of Public Service Electric and Gas Company’s (PSE&G) Solar 4 All™ program.

PSEG Solar Source purchases 25.2 MW solar project in Arizona from juwi

(January 11, 2012 – Newark, NJ) – PSEG Solar Source today completed the acquisition of a 25.2 MW DC (19 MW AC) solar project developed by juwi solar Inc. The PSEG Queen Creek Solar Farm is expected to begin construction in January 2012 and be completed in the 3rd quarter of 2012. The project will be located on158 acres of land approximately 30 miles southeast of Phoenix Arizona. PSEG Solar Source paid approximately $75 million for the project.

SRP Signs Deal for Solar Energy Plant in Queen Creek

Salt River Project and Colorado-based juwi solar Inc. have signed a 20-year power purchase agreement for 19 megawatts of solar photovoltaic energy from a facility to be built in Queen Creek. SRP will purchase all of the solar energy produced at the Queen Creek power plant, which is expected to be online by the end of 2012.
